Nursery Rhymes

In my room there is a clock

It’s old

And it’s ancient.

It’s a classic looking

Made with broken shards

of poetry of youthful nursery rhymes

Humpty Dumpty who’s playing

his fiddle and Miss Muffet

listening to the tune

Mary Mary quite contrary

Listening from her garden above

I love this clock

Treasure it

Adore and admire it

From it’s pointy hands

To its outer rim

As I look at this clock

High atop

Its mantle

I look again

And again but never does this

Old clock
